As a senior leader at Trust for Public Land, I oversee our national portfolio of trails projects that transform communities to be healthier, more vibrant places to live, work and visit. These include major urban infrastructure projects with budgets in excess of $1 billion to community trails projects designed to help small towns tap into the recreation economy and advance rural prosperity. I work closely with communities and public agencies to first understand their goals, and then forge partnerships and leverage outside funding in support of those goals. I also support TPL’s 30 field offices with strategy consulting, risk management and project troubleshooting. I bring 30 years of project management and community engagement experiences combined with deep knowledge of real estate, fundraising, government relations, and design/construction to advance the most challenging trails and open space opportunities in America.
